Gravity & Alignment

Gravity is a downward force acting against our bodies. When the body is in its vertical axis, it is aligned with gravity and uses that force for support. When it is not, gravity will pull it further and further out of alignment as time goes by. Because the body is constantly moving, there is rarely a state of static verticality. The entire body is involved in maintaining stability and balance in motion. There is always give and take movement happening around the central axis of the body. When aligned, the body’s central axis works with, instead of against, gravity.
